Meet the Team
Brett Eskelson
Co-Founder
Previous work: Instructure, Genius SIS,
CodeHS, CodeMonkey
I gained a love for education technology at Instructure when the company started selling Canvas in K12. I had the privilege of being the first SDR. During my time at Instructure I sold new products, developed new markets, and was ultimately promoted to Sales Director for the Canvas mid-market, private school, and inside sales teams. I joined CodeHS as Head of Sales leading a small startup that was a leader in the growing market of computer science for middle and high school students. I also spent time working in the student information system world as Director of Sales for Genius SIS. Most recently I was the VP of Sales for CodeMonkey. CodeMonkey is headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel and I was tasked with helping them expand in the US. I managed operations and was responsible for revenue, partnerships, and customer success in the United States.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and three boys. I love to play sports and I especially enjoy the winter when I can spend time snowboarding.
Jared Ward

My professional career started as a ceramics and sculpture teacher and have 15 years of classroom experience in high schools, universities, and community programs. I started working as an Instructional Technology Specialist 6 years prior to joining the sales team at Instructure. I worked for the US sales team at Instructure for 2 years as a Solutions Engineer, then relocated with my family to Australia where I worked in various roles including Director of Sales Engineering and Bid Management and Acting General Manager. In 2020, I moved back to the US to take on a Sales Manager role for a newly acquired product to support the bring to market efforts for Instructure's Elevate Analytics tools.

Personally, I'm a father of 2 teenagers and my wife and I enjoy spending time with them and our 2 dogs. I'm very passionate about the work that I do and love making new connections and learning new things.
